David's lasagna Recipe

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 8 oz can low sodium tomato sauce
2 cans of diced tomatoes
2 6 oz cans of tomato paste
3 cup of water
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp garlic (fresh, minced or powder)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 8 oz packages of sliced mozzarella cheese
2% cottage cheese
shredded mozzarella cheese
lasagna noodles

Brown ground beef and onion. Drain off any grease then add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, water, basil, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 1 hour.
Cook lasagna noodles
layer noodles, sauce, cottage cheese, mozzarella slices 2 times. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Cook on 350 for 1 hour.
