3 cups white sugar
1 1/4 cups light cream or evaporated milk
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp white syrup
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp grated orange peel
1 1/2 cups coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1st four ingredients, stir over low heat & heat to boiling. Cover & cook 3 minutes. Uncover & cook to soft ball stage.
Remove from heat & add orange peel and maragine. Cool to lukewarm without stirring, beat until thick, add coconut & beat till creamy. Spread in buttered pan & cut, or roll in balls, & roll in coconut
