From Marion Ellinger Special Recipes Book #1


Ingredients:

1-1/2 lbs Ground Beef
1 egg
2 T. Catsup
1 T. Worcestershire Sauce
1-3/4 tsp. Salt
Pepper to taste
1/4 cup Chopped Onion
1/2 cup Milk
3/4 cup Quick Oats (or Breadcrumbs)
1/4 cup Horseradish
1 T. Prepared Mustard
2 tsp. Paprika

Topping:
1/4 cup Catsup
1 T. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Prepared Mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and pat into a loaf on a baking sheet. Combine topping ingredients and pour over the top of the loaf.
Bake at 350º until done.

Mom has written that you could substitute 2 lbs. of lean ground turkey and use Egg Beaters for a more lean Meat Loaf.
