2 cups white sugar
1 3/4 cups white syrup
2 cups whipping cream
1 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups meat nuts

Directions:

Cook to a firm ball or 240 º by thermometer then add nuts and pour in well buttered pan. Cut and wrap when cool. I suggest you trust your thermometer and it will be very good. You do have a Taylor candy thermometer don't you?
