2 oz (ounce) instant coffe
2 C hot water
3 oz vanila
1 qt (quart) brandy

On stove heat sugar coffee and water until sugar dissolves. Allow to cool a little then add vanilla, pour into a ½ gallon jug and fill to top with brandy.
