4-5# pork roast
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 clove garlic, slivered
2 medium onions, sliced
2 bay leaves
1 whole clove
1/2 c hot water or white wine
1 tbs soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Rub roast with salt and pepper. Make tiny slits in meat and insert slivers of garlic. Brown on top of stove. Place sliced onion in bottom of crock pot. Add browned pork and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 10 hours, High 5-6 hours. Strain juice when done and thicken with cornstarch for juice.
