1/2 c. peanut butter (JIFF)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Use ungreased cookie sheets.

In a bowl, blend peanut butter and butter until smooth.
Add the remaining ingredients; mixing well.
Form dough into 1" balls. Place 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Using a floured fork, make a cris-cross design to flatten top of cookies.
Bake in 350º oven for 9-10 minutes. DO NOT over cook.
