*1.5lbs (2lbs)
2 TB (3 TB) sugar
1 1/2 tsp (2 tsp) salt
2 (3) eggs, beaten
1/2 c (2/3 c) softened butter
1/3 c (1/2 c) buttermilk, warmed
3 TB (1/4 c) warm water
3 c (4 c) bread or all-purpose flour
1 tsp (1 1/2 tsp) instant or bread machine yeast

Directions:
Directions:
In bread pan, combine sugar, salt, eggs, butter, and 86-95F buttermilk and water. Spoon flour on top. Add yeast. Start on dough only setting. (This bread puffs up hugely in the machine, and the texture is better if you oven-bake it.) Bake in the oven at 350 for 35-40 minutes
