3 med. red peppers
1 c. cider vinegar
2 med. green peppers
5 c. sugar
10 large jalapeno peppers
1 box fruit pectin
1/2 tsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Discard seeds of peppers and chop finely. Should yields 4 cups of peppers. Place in a 6-8 qt. pot. Stir in vinegar. Measure sugar into separate bowl. Stir fruit pectin into peppers in pot. Add butter. Bring mixture to full rolling boil on high heat, stirring constantly. Quickly stir in all sugar.. Return to full rolling boil and boil exactly 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. skim off any foam with metal spoon. Ladle quickly into hot sterilized jars, filling within 1/8 from top.. Wipe jars and rims. Cover with lids, and screw tightly. Invert jars for 5 minutes, then turn upright. Cool 1-1 1/2 hours, the shake jars gently to distribute peppers evenly throughout jelly. After jars are cooled completely, check seals.
