½ c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Topping:
4 tbsp. oleo
5 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp cream
½ c. coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk, melt butter in it.
Mix together eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add hot milk to egg mixture.
Pour into greased 8 or 9 inch square pan.
Bake in 350º oven about 25 minutes or until set and beginning to brown.
Meanwhile: Melt oleo, brown sugar and cream in a saucepan.
Boil a few minutes, then add coconut.
Spread topping over baked cake and bake a few more minutes or put under the broiler to cook topping.
