Ingredients:
1# of bowtie pasta
1 1/2 cups of sugar....I use a cup to cut down on the sweetness.
1 1/2 cups of white vinegar
1 onion, thinly sliced
2/3 cup of vegetable oil
1-2 cucumber, peeled, thinly sliced
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. parsley....In my opinion this is way too much parsley. I put enough in to please me. Only 1-2 tsp.
1/4 tsp. dill weed....In my opinion this isn't enough dill weed. I use almost 1 tsp.

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and rinse. Place in a bowl. While pasta is warm pour the vegetable oil over pasta, and give it a toss. Add the cucumber and onion to pasta. In another bowl add remaining ingredients, and whisk well. Pour over pasta and veggies, and stir to cover well.

This salad is best made the day before your event. Stir throughout the day to make sure everything is marinating well. I love this salad.
