Brown Sugar Pound Cake Recipe

2 c Brown Sugar
1 c butter
3 eggs
1 c sour cream
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp grated lemon peel
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda

1 c powdered sugar
2 tbs fresh lemon juice

Pre heat oven 325
In mixing bowl soften and cream butter
Add brown sugar and mix
Add eggs and mix
Add lemon peel and vanilla and mix
Fold in alternately sour cream, baking soda and flour

Grease bundt baking pan and pour batter in
Bake 1-1 1/2 hours (check after 1 hour depending on pan used - 9X13 pans take longer to cook in the middle)
Cool on wire rack for 15 minutes then cool completely before adding icing

Wish powdered sugar and lemon juice (add more juice if necessary but make sure its not too runny)
Drizzle over cake
