½ lb. bacon
6-8 slices of rye bread
6-8 slices turkey or chicken
1 stick of butter
½ lb. grated sharp cheese
1 (5 oz) can evaporated milk
1 can mushroom soup, undiluted
1 or 2 tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon until crisp. Toast bread. Slice tomatoes. Warm slices of turkey or chicken. Combine in saucepan: ½ stick butter, ½ lb. grated sharp cheese, 1 can evaporated milk and 1 can mushroom soup, undiluted. Heat until cheese melts. Place toast in bottom of baking pan. Place turkey or chicken on toast. cover with layer of tomatoes and a layer of bacon, then pour cheese sauce over all. Broil until hot.
