1 c. margarine, soft
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
2 c. pecans, chopped
2 c. 10x powder sugar, sifted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet.
Cream margarine.
Add granulated sugar and vanilla; mix well.
Add flour and salt (if using); blend well.
Add pecans; mix well.
Shape dough into balls or ovals; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in 325º oven for 25 minutes.
Remove cookies from cookie sheet and roll in sifted powder sugar.
Let cookies cool for 1 hour and then roll again in sifted powder sugar.
