1-2 lb. package frozen hash browns, shredded
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
16 oz. sour cream
1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese

Topping:
1 1/2 c. crushed Corn Flakes
1/4 c. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Allow potatoes to thaw only until they can be separated. Do Not completely thaw them. Mix first 8 ingredients. Pour into large (13x9) greased casserole. Mix topping thoroughly and spread evenly on top of potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. (Can be frozen for later use.)
