Ingredients:  
3 quarts peeled, chopped ripe tomatoes
3 cups chopped celery
2 cups chopped onions
1 cup chopped green peppers
1/4 cup salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and let stand overnight. Drain in collander. Don't press. Add 2 cups sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 1/2 tbsp mixed spices, and 1 cup vinegar. Place in large kettle all ingredients except spices (put those in cheese cloth bag.) Bring to a boil and reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes. Ladle into jars. Seal and process in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
