6 eggs
1 ½ C sugar
3 ½ C flour
4 tsp baking powder
½ lb of margarine or butter
2 T vanilla or anise extract


For chocolate pizzelles add:

½ C cocoa
½ C sugar
½ tsp baking powder
to other ingredients in recipe.
Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, add sugar gradually until smooth.

Add cooled, melted butter and anise/vanilla.

Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture.

Dough will be sticky.

Cook in a pizzelle maker and dust with confectioner's sugar
