1 C flour
¾ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 ½ C borwn sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 C oatmeal
1 C raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, soda, salt and nutmeg into bowl.

Combine brown sugar, eggs, vanilla. Beat until smooth.

Stir in oatmeal and raisins.

Drop by heaping tsp onto greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes.

NOTE:
Soak raisins or 1 minute in boiling water to plump. Drain well. THIS STEP IS OPTIONAL

(AT 350º Gran's cookies scorch, so 325º works better
