1 1/4 cups sugar, divided
1 cup flour
7 T cocoa, divided
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 cups hot water
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Stir together 3/4 cup sugar, flour and 3 T cocoa, baking powder. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Spread into an ungreased 8 or 9 inch baking pan. Stir together 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and 4 T cocoa. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Pour hot water on top. DO NOT STIR.

Bake 35-40 minutes or until center is almost set. Let stand 15 minutes.
