Pecan Pie Recipe

1 unbaked 9" pie shell
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 c light corn syrup
1 pinch salt
3 Tbsp butter, melted
3/4 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c pecans, in pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In medium bowl, mix eggs, corn syrup, salt, butter, vanilla, and brown sugar. Stir in pecans. Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees. Bake 40-50 minutes or until firm.

Note: If you really like your pie nutty, increase the amount of pecans to 1 3/4 cups.
Check crust during baking to make sure it isn't browning too fast; if it is browning to quickly, cover edges with foil or use a pie crust saver.
