"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
There were times when we didn't have much money to buy groceries. This cake was a real treat for us, we really enjoyed getting to eat something sweet even though we couldn't afford milk or eggs. We used regular white flour and usually we didn't have icing but the cake was still delicious to us. We truly appreciated this recipe, Trisha and I have great memories of making this cake together.
