3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbs. Butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl combine eggs, sugar, Karo and butter; mix well. Add vanilla and pecans and blend well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 45-60 minutes or until center has set & spring back when done. The center temperature should reach 200 degrees
If edges of crust start to brown to fast cover edges with strips of foil. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

I remember going to my Maw Maw's house and having steak and gravy with rice with pecan pie for dessert. It is the best you will ever eat. I would spend hours brushing her hair. I don't know who enjoyed it more. We would have coffee together between eating and brushing.
