Sift
4 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

Cream
1 C Crisco
1 tsp salt
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 C white sugar

1 C crushed pineapple
1 C nuts (pecans)

Directions:
Directions:
Add to creamed mixture 2 eggs and beat well

Add dry mixture and mix well. Mixture will be stiff.

Add fruit and nuts last

Place small teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet and press each one with a glass dipped in white sugar. Bake in oven at 375º
