Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb medium uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon garlic
2 teaspoons olive oil
optional: one teaspoon of freshly peeled and grated ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger (if using) together in a medium bowl.

Place the shrimp in a large zipped-top bag or Tupperware. Pour half of the marinade mixture on top, give it all a shake, then marinate for up to 8-12 hours. Cover and refrigerate the rest of the marinade in the meantime. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Place shrimp in the skillet. (Discard used marinade). Cook shrimp on one side until it is no longer pink--about 45 seconds, then flip over. Pour in remaining marinade and cook it all for about one minute longer. Serve shrimp with cooked marinated sauce and a garnish of green onion, if desired. The sauce is excellent on brown rice and steamed veggies on the side.

You can remove the tail or leave it on, your preference.
