1 lb cooked elbow macaroni ½ lb Colby Cheese
1 cup whole milk ½ lb Monterey Jack cheese
2 (12 oz ) cans evaporated milk ½ lb sharp Cheddar cheese
3 eggs 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cut into chunks
2 tbsp sour cream 1 cup shredded American or mild Cheddar cheese
1 cup butter, cut into small pieces 1 tbsp white pepper
1 tbsp sugar salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350* .
Put pasta in a 9 x13 baking dish and set aside.
Mix milk and eggs well.
Add the butter and the Colby, Monterey Jack, sharp Cheddar, and Velveeta to the pasta.
Pour milk and egg mixture over the pasta.
Season with salt, pepper, sugar and toss.
Sprinkle with remaining cups of American or Cheddar.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until top is lightly brown.

My kids like a creamy Mac and cheese. My Mom always served a baked so that's what I prefer. For a baked Mac and Cheese recipe, this is it!! It doesn't get any better than this. But yes, still every once in a while, you'll see me get out that old yellow and blue box of Kraft Mac N Cheez because after 60 years, some things are just like when you were a kid.
