1 cup soft bread crumbs (2 slices)
cup applesauce
1 pound ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon dried celery flakes, optional
1 teaspoon Dijon style mustard
teaspoon salt (optional)

SAUCE:
cup applesauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon style mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Combine bread crumbs with the first cup applesauce. Add beef, egg, onion, celery flakes, 1 teaspoon mustard, salt and dash of pepper. Blend thoroughly. Shape into a round loaf in a 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. With bowl of spoon, make a depression in top of loaf. Combine sauce ingredients. Pour into depression in meatloaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
