4 lbs potatoes
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
5 T butter
1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
2 tsp orange rind
3/4 cup citrus juice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Place oven rack on top third of oven. In pan, bake whole potatoes 50-55 minutes til tender. Cool and peel.

Toast pecans in small skillet to brown -- 6 minutes.

Slice potatoes 3/4-inch thick.

Melt butter in skillet. Add sugar, stir til foamy -- 3 minutes. Add orange rind, juice, nutmeg and salt. Cook to thicken - about 4 minutes. Add potatoes, toss til glazed -- 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Top with nuts.
