Loaf French bread, sliced
3 eggs
¾ c. milk
1 T. sugar
¼ tsp. salt
2 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange bread in baking dish, 13 ½ X 9 X 2. Beat eggs, milk, sugar, and salt until fluffy. Add vanilla. Pour over bread; turn each slice to coat well. Cover, refrigerate overnight.
To prepare: heat butter in skillet. Carefully transfer each slice to skillet. Cover over medium heat 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
