Ingredients:
1 lb. of hamburger
1 lb. sausage
2 eggs
medium onion, diced
bread crumbs
large can cream of mushroom soup
enough milk to fill can

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 F. In a large bowl place your hamburger and sausage, eggs, diced onion. Mix together well. Add enough bread crumbs to the mixture, until you can form a loaf. Do not add too many. It will make your meatloaf too dry. If you find it is dry, add some ketchup, or even some of the soup mixture. Place in a 13X9 pan. Whisk your soup and milk together. Pour your soup mixture over your meatloaf. Cover with foil. Bake for 45 minutes to an hour, or until no longer pink in the middle.

You can make the ketchup version of this the same way. Just omit the soup and top with ketchup.

Personal Notes:
My mother always made meatloaf this way because my dad didn't like the ketchup version. My husband wasn't a meatloaf with ketchup fan either, so I always made one of each for my family of 5.
