2 1/2 ounces blue cheese
3 tbsp buttermilk
3 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tsp red wine vinegar
1/4 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp garlic powder
salt and ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, mash blue cheese and buttermilk together with a fork until consistency of large curd cottage cheese. Stir in sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar and garlic powder until well blended. Season with salt and pepper.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.

If you don't have buttermilk add a few drops of lemon juice to milk.
I have tried using balsamic, white wine and cider vinegar's but the red wine vinegar seems to have just the right amount of tang.
