1 grated coconut
1 pt molasses
1 1/2 lb butter and scant amount lard
2 1/2 lb sugar
2 1/2 lbs flour

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients together
Mix wet ingredients together
Add wet to dry ingredients and mix well
pour into cake pan
bake 25 minutes at 350
cool on rack
