1 c. unpopped popcorn
1 lb. light brown sugar
¼ tsp. cream of tartar
¾ c. Karo syrup
2 sticks butter
1 ½ tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Pop popcorn. Place in a LARGE metal or glass bowl. Mix sugar and cream of tartar in a sauce pan. Add Karo and butter and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda. Pour evenly over popcorn. Stir and place loosely on cookie sheets. Bake at 200º for 1 hour. Store in air tight containers.
