14 oz. caramels
3-4 T. milk
2 c. pecan halves
12 oz. milk chocolate
1 bars wax

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramel in a sauce pan over medium heat for 4 minutes or until melted, stirring constantly. Add milk. Stir in pecans then spoon onto buttered cookie sheets. Place a tooth-pick into each one making sure to pierce a pecan. Place in the freezer until frozen. Melt chocolate and wax in a double boiler. Dip the caramel pecans in chocolate mixture. Place them onto wax paper until harden.

This was probably the most popular candy we made at Christmas. It's easy and delicious. Mom would take a toothpick and drop a dot of chocolate to fill in the whole that the toothpick left in the chocolate.
