2 cans crabmeat (or fresh)
1/4 cup butter
3 tbsp flour 1/2 salt
dash of pepper
3/4 bottle of clam juice
1/2 cup cream
11/2 tbsp of good Sherry
1 hard boiled egg, chopped
1tbsp minced onion
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
1 tbsp chopped parsley and chive
1/4 cup of dry bread crumbs

Drain Crabmeat
Melt 3 tbsp. butter ; remove from heat and stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in clam juice and cream
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until it thickens and its smooth. Stir in sherry, crabmeat and egg.
Heat remaining butter in a small skillet and sautee onion, chive, mushroom, parsley until tender , about 5 minutes. Stir in bread crumbs Top Crab mixture with this topping and serve warm with toast points
