1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped cherries
1/2 cup chopped nuts
6 oz pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits

Directions:
Directions:
cream butter and sugars. blend in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add alternatly with milk mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate bits , cherries, and nuts. Place rounded tsp of dough on greased cookie sheets. bake at 375* for 10-12 minutes.
