Stovetop Rotini Recipe

8oz. Rotini pasta, cooked and drained
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pint stewed tomatoes
1 - 6oz. can tomato paste
1 - 4oz. can mushroom stems and pieces
1 tsp salt
tsp basil
tsp oregano
tsp garlic powder
tsp crushed red pepper
2 cups Mozzarella cheese

In a large skillet brown ground beef, onion and green pepper. Drain. Add all remaining ingredients except Mozzarella cheese. Simmer on low until heated through. Add cooked pasta and 1 cup of cheese. Simmer additional 2-3 minutes. Add remaining cheese on top, cover and allow cheese to melt. Serve with potato chips for scooping.
