Base:
1/2 c softened butter
5 Tbsp sugar and cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 c graham wafer crumbs
1 c coconut
1/2 c chopped walnuts
Place first 5 in a bowl, set in a pan of hot water (or double boiler). Stir until butter melted and consistency of custard. Mix all else together and add. Press into ungreased 8 " square pan. Double in large lasagna pan etc

Filling:
4 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp vanilla instant pudding powder (instead of vanilla custard powder)
3 Tbsp milk
2 c icing sugar
Cream butter. Add 2 and 3 and mix. Add sugar and beat together till consistency of icing. Spread evenly over base. Allow to harden a bit.

4 squares semisweet choc (just over 4 oz if choc chips)
1 Tbsp butter
Melt together. Spread over filling. Refrigerate.
