2 c sifted flour
1 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1 1/4 c margarine
1 c white sugar
1 c brown sugar firmly packed
2 eggs well beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2 c cornflakes
2 c shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Smash about 1 3/4 cups of cornflakes and then add more corn flakes to make 2 cups and set aside.
Sift flour, soda,salt, and baking powder and set aside. Cream margarine and sugars gradually; beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and cream mixture. Add coconut and corn flakes. Drop by small teaspoons on GREASED cookie sheet. Use about a tablespoon of dough and place about 9 on a sheet. The cookies spread so don't place them too close
Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes or until delicately brown. Cool a minute or 2 and take off sheet or they will stick to the sheet.
