Ingredients:  
1 pound butter
2 1/4 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 pound ground almonds
4 cups sifted flour
Grated rind of 1 large lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and beat in the sugar gradually. Add eggs one at a time and beat until smooth. Stir in nuts, lemon rind and flour. Refrigerate a few hours or overnight. Roll part of the dough 1/8 inch thick, keeping the rest of the dough refrigerated. Cut with assorted cutters dipped in flour. Decorate. Bake at 350º 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown.
