Ingredients:  
1 cup of shortening
1½ cup of sugar
2 eggs
2 ¾ cup of flour
2 tsp of cream of tartar
1 tsp of baking soda
½ tsp of salt
2 tsp of cinnamon
2 tbsp. of sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Blend shortening, sugar and eggs
Mix together flour, cream of tartar, soda & salt
Add to blended mixture
Mix cinnamon and sugar in separate bowl

Roll dough into balls. Roll balls in mixture of cinnamon sugar
Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet
Bake in preheated oven 400º for 8 to 10 minutes

Cookies will puff up when the bake and flatten out with a crinkled top
