1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
2/3 c. milk
2-3 Tbs. boiling water
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 pint fresh blueberries

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening together. Beat flour, milk, and boiling water together for 2 minutes. Add eggs, vanilla and almond extracts. Beat 2 more minutes. Fold in blueberries. Spoon into greased muffin tins or cups. Bake at 375º for 20-25 minutes.
