1 Pound Ground Beef
1 Medium Onion (chopped)
1 Clove Garlic or 1/2 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
2 Tablespoons Parsley Flakes
1 Teaspoon Sugar
1 Teaspoon Dried Basil Leaves
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 (28 ounces) Can Whole Tomatoes
1 (15 ounces) Can Tomato Sauce
1 Container (24 Ounces) Cottage Cheese
1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan
12 Uncooked Lasagna Noodles
1 Tablespoon Parsley Flakes
1 1/2 Teaspoon Oregano
2 Cups -1 Pound Shredded Mozzarella
1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook and stir hamburger, onion, and garlic in large skillet until meat is brown and no longer pink. Drain grease from hamburger. Stir in parsley, sugar, basil, salt, tomatoes, and tomato sauce, breaking up tomatoes. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until slightly thickened, about 45 minutes. Cook noodles as directed on package. Drain noodles. In a separate bowl, mix cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, and oregano. Spread 1 cup of sauce mixture in ungreased baking dish. Top with 3 or 4 noodles (enough to cover bottom of dish. Spread cup of cheese mixture over noodles. Sprinkle mozzarella. Then pour sauce over the top again. Repeat layers and end with mozzarella. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes uncovered. Let stand for 15 minutes before cutting. Enjoy!
