1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 cup water
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground black pepper
2 tsp. dried oregano
2 tsp. dried basil
2 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. dried parsley
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 bay leaves
5 pound chuck roast

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a liquid measuring cup or bowl, combine all ingredients except the roast. Whisk to combine.
2. Place the roast in slow cooker and pour seasoning mixture over the meat. Cover and cook on low for 9-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours. When done, remove bay leaves and shred the meat with a fork. Keep the meat in the juice in the slow Cooker.
3. Serve on crusty rolls with cheese, if desired.
