8 baking potatoes washed
3 T canola oil
1 stick butter
1 cup bacon bits
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cheddar or jack shredded cheese (plus more for topping)
½ cup milk
1 tsp Lawry's seasoning salt
3 green onions, sliced
Freshly ground black pepper.

Rub potatoes with oil, place on baking sheets (lined with foil) and bake at 400º for 1 hour or until done.

Slice butter into pats. Mix in large bowl with bacon and sour cream. Remove potatoes from over and reduce heat to 350º.

Cut potatoes in half lengthwise. Scrape in sides into mixing bowl. Leave about ¼ inch in shells and place on baking sheet.

Smash potatoes with butter, bacon, and sour cream. Add cheese, milk, salt, onions and pepper to taste. Fill potatoes and top with cheese. Cook 15 to 20 minutes.
