cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
tsp salt
1 cup mashed bananas (2 or 3 very ripe)
cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs 1 at a time. Beat well. Add bananas. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together in separate pan. Add to cream mixture. Add nuts if desired. Grease load pan. Bake 55-60 minutes (dependent on loaf size).
