1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
2 c. unbleached flour
2 c.finely chopped pecans
½ c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and add sugar, vanilla and water. Sift flour and salt together and stir into mixture. Add pecans, and mix thoroughly using portions about size of small walnuts. Roll into crescent shaped or ball shaped cookies.
Bake in slow oven (325 degrees) about 20 minutes.
While they are still warm roll in more powdered sugar. Keep rolling until you get the amount on there that you are happy with!
