1/2 cup butter
1 (4 oz) sweet chocolate bar, chopped
1 cup sugar
1 (5 oz) can evaporated milk
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate in a heavy saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir in sugar, evaporated milk, corn syrup, and salt; cook over medium heat, stirring gently, 5 minutes or just until sugar dissolves and sauce is smooth.

Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Cool to room temperature. Cover and chill up to 1 month.

Serve warm.
