2 sticks of butter
1 package of light brown sugar, divided
4 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour - self rising
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup flaked coconut
Optional: chocolate chips, chopped dates, chopped nuts,
add what ever makes you happy

Melt butter and half light brown sugar. in another bowl, beat together eggs, salt, vanilla and othef half of brown sugar. When butter and sugar are eluted, " dump" them into egg mixture and beat. "Dump" in flour, baking powder, coconut, and any optional ingredients. Mix well and "dump" into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 º for 40-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool. Cut into squares -24.
