Mom's Pecan Pie Recipe

3 eggs (beaten)
1 cup sugar
1 cup white Karo syrup
2/3 cup pecans
1 tsp vanilla
pinch salt
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients and mix well. Put into unbaked pie shell and bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees, then reduce temp to 350 degrees and bake for another 25 to 30 minutes.

Years past I can remember Mom would always bake this pie for the holidays and there would always be a house full of family but as the years passed the amount of family that got together dwindled and so did her traditional pecan pies. Traditions change with the times. Family traditions old and new, what works for me may not work for you. The important thing is we work together to make memories that will last forever.
