1/2 cup salad oil
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients in order given, beat well. Drop by tablespoon on un-greased cookie sheet. Bake 7-10 minutes @ 375º. Yield: 40 cookies. Spread filling in-between.

4 TB flour or 2 TB cornstarch
1/2 cup Margerine
1/2 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt

Cook milk & flour until very thick. Cool completely. Cream together Margarine, Crisco & sugar. Add vanilla & salt. Add cooled, cooked mixture & beat w/electric mixer on high for 5 minutes until creamy.
